Abstract

Bryocamptus (Bryocamptus) pirgos Apostolov, 1969 is redescribed. The studied specimens originate from damp mosses of Mladezhka River in Strandzha Mountain, Bulgaria. Important taxonomic morphological details of female specimens of the species are presented, including the armature formula of the swimming legs, ornamentation of somites, length/width ratios of body and the mouthpart structures.
